Alex Bergen
Managing Partner
Alex Bergen is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at CorpFin Search. Prior to founding the firm, Alex spent five years in Investment Banking / M&A in London and Frankfurt, advising companies, entrepreneurs, and financial investors on corporate acquisitions and divestitures. He studied at the University of Mannheim and at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Robert Simon is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at CorpFin Search. Before founding the firm, Robert spent more than four years at a London-based Executive Search company, where he built the DACH practice for the M&A and Private Equity sectors and co-led the Frankfurt office. He began his career in headhunting at a global recruitment firm, where he was part of the team responsible for building out coverage of positions in Investment Banking and Private Equity.

Günter Rasten looks back on decades of successful experience as Managing Director and Partner in international Executive Search. After studying Business Administration, he worked in global marketing for U.S. pharmaceutical corporations before joining the Peat Marwick Mitchell organization (today: KPMG) in the late 1980s. As a Partner, he built the firm’s HR consulting practice, led a management buyout, and developed the business into one of Germany’s leading Executive Search addresses. He later sold his shares to a U.S. publicly listed consulting company and went on to join a boutique specialized in senior executive search as Board Member, Shareholder, and Senior Partner. For the past three years, Mr. Rasten has been active as Senior Advisor, Board Member, and Search Partner for C-level mandates.
